Rooted in History. Driven by Vision.

Rooted in History. Driven by Vision.

The work of Penn Research and Strategies is grounded in the legacy of the 1972 National Black Political Convention. Like those leaders who gathered in Gary, Indiana, we believe in self-determination, community power, and the importance of strategic, informed action.
We honor that legacy by helping today’s leaders, organizers, and institutions build solutions that are people-centered, data-driven, and equity-focused.

These principles inform our work today. We don’t see research as neutral. We don’t see strategy as one-size-fits-all. We believe in collaborating with—and for—the people most affected by our work. That means prioritizing:

• Equity and accountability

• Deep listening and public opinion research

• Strategic clarity for long-term, sustainable change
